TSHISEKEDI GOES FOR THE KABILISTS: PPRD Party Permanent Secretary Summoned By State Prosecutor

DR Congo President Fèlix Tshisekedi has sworn to bring down the entire party of his predecessor Joseph Kabila and his sympathizers who have started receiving summons and arrest warrants to appear before the state security agencies without any reasons.

Kabila’s party, the People’s Party for Reconstruction and Democracy (PPRD) Deputy Permanent Secretary Ferdinand Kambere is the latest to be summoned to appear before the Public Prosecutor at the Kinshasa-Gombe where the state plans to detain him.

Kambere has confirmed the receipt of a summon to appear before the Public Prosecutor in which the reasons behind this call has not been indicated.

The Kabila loyalist has since strongly denounced the procedure by the state summon him without any reasons stated.

“Today, we are called to respond to the mandate of the prosecution as auxiliaries of justice and we are obliged to go there in order to also know the reasons for our summons. It was still surprising that the mandate was presented, fortunately, in my absence by people who insisted on seeing me. I wonder why you chose a public holiday? Was there danger at home?” lamented Ferdinand Kambere.

So far no information has been leaked so far on the possible reason for this summons to the prosecution.

Furthermore, the PPRD party have strongly denounced the maneuvers of the Félix Tshisekedi regime to terrorize party executives and followers of Joseph Kabila, the honorary former President of the Republic.
