Opposition candidate Moïse Katumbi has faced many obstacles thrown on his way to challenging President Fèlix Tshisekedi during the road to the 2023 General Elections but he keeps navigating through all with the determination to serve the Congolese population.
On Thursday, Katumbi and his entourage suffered a setback on their way to Idiofa town of Kwilu Province as their vehicles got stuck in the deplorable roads that have been left abandoned for five years by Tshisekedi and his government.
However, as he has done with all challenges thrown at him, Katumbi and his team managed to navigate through the muddy roads to reach Idiofa.
Katumbi was welcomed by thousands of locals who had come to interact with their leader to communicate the many challenges they are faced with in the town.
Abandoned by Tshisekedi with not even a single project delivered in the community, the people of Idiofa reassured Katumbi of their vote on 20th December.
Katumbi later visited Ngele Orphange School situated in one of the villages that is faced with a number of challenges including lack of education materials, proper desks and a proper learning environment.
