FIFA INTERNATIONAL WINDOW: Leopards Date New Zealand & Angola In Friendlies

The Democratic Republic of Congo men’s national team will play two friendly matches against New Zealand and Angola in Europe ahead of next month’s FIFA international window.

The Leopards will first take on the Kiwis of New Zealand on 13th October at the Estadio Nueva Condomina in the city of Murcia, Spain.

The DR Congo FA (FECOFA) have taken advantage of the team’s trip to Spain and have go on to secure another friendly against the Parancas Negras of Angola.

The Leopards will head to Portugal where they confront the Parancas Negras five days later in Lisbon at venue to communicated in due course.

Leopards coach Sebastien Desabre will be using the two friendly encounters to test his side’s readiness for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers that begin in November.

The DR Congo recently qualified for the 20th edition of the 2023 (to be held in 2024) TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations tournament billed for January, 2024.
