DIVINE INTERVENTION: Mazembe Visit The Church Ahead of Crucial Champions League Tie Against Petro

Democratic Republic of Congo’s representatives TP Mazembe players have visited the church to seek divine intervention ahead of their TotalEnergies CAF Champions League quarter-final clash against Angolan side Petro de Luanda to be played on Saturday.

Mazembe players and members of the staff who have been camping at club president Moïse Katumbi’s exquisite Futuka Farm, were on Wednesday present the Catholic Church situated in the area for the morning mass.

The Catholic Church priest prayed for the entire team to be successful in Saturday’s crucial encounter to be played in Kamalondo.

Meanwhile Mazembe’s opponents, Petro have arrived in Lubumbashi ahead of the match slated for this Saturday.

Five-time African champions, Mazembe will host Petro on Saturday in the first leg before traveling to the Angolan capital Luanda for the tie decider.
