[VIDEO] MEETING LEOPARDS: Tshisekedi Salutes DRC For Defeating Gabon 2-0 As Sudan’s 3-0 Loss To Mauritania Improve AfCON Chance

President Félix Tshisekedi on has met and congratulated the Congolese men’s team for defeating Gabon 2-0 on Sunday to revive their hopes of reaching the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

The Head of State met the team at the Presidential Palace in Kinshasa.

Meanwhile, the Leopards’ chances of qualification were improved after Sudan lost 3-0 yesterday.

Congo will face Sudan on September 4 and need onlyba draw to qualify to the Africa Cup of Nations billed for Ivory Coast.

Mauritania moved to 8 points, one better than Congo and face Gabon on September 4.
