TP Mazembe players and supporters have flocked President Moïse Katumbi’s residence this evening to celebrate their passage into the group stage of the CAF Champions League for the first time in two seasons.

The city of Lubumbashi is gripped in ecstatic scenes after the win by the giants.

Mazembe beat Malawian side Nyasa Big Bullets 4-0 this afternoon at the Stade de TP Mazembe in Kamalondo to progress with a 5-0 aggregate scoreline.

The five-time African champions last qualified for the group stage of the Champions League in the 2020/21 season.
