The population in Grand Katanga has demanded that the Independent Electoral Commission (CENI) keeps the voter registration exercise open until those lining up complete the process.
Voters say there was a deliberate supply of faulty and fewer equipment as a way of disenfranchising the population in the area.
Grand Katanga is the stronghold of opposition leader Moise Katumbi who the ruling party wants to block from contesting the election.
