European ambassadors in the Democratic Republic of Congo have expressed worry with the inclusion of the Tshiani bill on the agenda of the current session in the National Assembly.
A delegation of European diplomats accredited to Kinshasa met the president of the National Assembly, Christophe Mboso, a few days ago.
The ambassadors expressed their concerns about this “discriminatory” bill and the “negative” risk that it could have on the upcoming elections and possible “tensions among communities”.
Today, the diplomats will continue their crusade with the President of the Senate Bahati Lukwebo, who is also opposed to the bill, earmarked.
