THREAT TO DEMOCRACY: Kabuya Confirms Tshisekedi’s Plan to Twist the Constitution For to Extend His Stay in Power

Democratic Republic of Congo imposter President and rising dictator Fèlix Tshisekedi plans to amend the constitution in order to extend his tenure of office after 2028.

Ruling UDPS Secretary General Augustin Kabuya confirmed the plan by Tshisekedi to temper with the country’s constitution by going for an illegal third term.

Speaking at a party rally on Saturday, Kabuya spoke strongly against the suggestions that Tshisekedi had been in his final term as president of the DR Congo.

“Stop singing that this is President Tshisekedi’s last term, who told you that this the last term? It is not the last” Kabuya said.

Meanwhile, Kabuya also tried to moderate his remarks by indicating that he was not saying that there would be a revision of the Constitution but could not quash public speculations from his initial comments about President Tshisekedi’s intentions.

Under Congolese fundamental law, Tshisekedi is now serving his final term after being re-elected but will try to cheat his way into a third term as he did in the chaotic 2023 elections.
