Opposition candidate Martin Fayulu and a group of protestants have gathered in Kinshasa as they prepare to go on a march to demand for the annulation of the elections.
Fayulu arrived at the ECiDe party headquarters at the Triomphal Boulevard this morning in the company of his allies with other protestants also joining the gathering.
Meanwhile, government has since deployed heavy police presence at the scene to prevent the march from going on this Wednesday.
Police fully armed with guns and weapons have packed in front of the ECiDe party headquarters ready to stop any demonstrations.
Fayulu and the opposition candidates are calling for the cancellation of the election that has been characterized by a number of irregularities that have favoured incumbent Fèlix Tshisekedi.
