KINSHASA CRIMINALS: Over 1,200 Notorious “Kuluna” Boys Arrested

The Congolese National Police (PNC) in Kinshasa have arrested 1237 thugs commonly known as “Kulunas” who have been terrorizing residents in the Congolese capital.

On Tuesday, Kinshasa Police commandant, Sylvano Kasongo, presented the notorious young boys to Deputy Interior Minister Péter Kazadi and Governor Gentiny Ngobila at the Pentecost Martyrs Stadium.

Police Commandant Kasongo revealed that the juveniles were apprehended for continuously committing several crime in the capital city and were set to be duly prosecuted.

Speaking at the occasion, Deputy Interior Minister Péter Kazadi reiterated his commitment to bringing peace and safety of citizens in Kinshasa.

“I will not even have pity on a person who kills, who rapes. Starting tomorrow, you will be presented before your natural judges and answer for your actions. You are citizens outside of society, you don’t like the Congo and you don’t like the Congolese either. We must treat you as such,” Kazadi said.

Meanwhile, Commandant Kasongo warned officers in the PNC who are said to have been aiding the Kuluna boys in commiting various crimes to desist from the act or risk persecution and dismissal from the police force.

Also at the same occasion, a number of police officers were rewarded with several gifts for their dedication and hard work in the police force.
