President Félix Tshisekedi today showed no regard for human rights as he set police on civilians, including children, who joined the opposition in protesting the poor state of governace.
The march in Kinshasa was organized by Moise Katumbi, Martin Fayulu, Augustin Matata Ponyo and Delly Sessanga who were present in Kianza.
This was despite a strong presence of police and military elements.
The four opposition leaders attracted an impressive crowd which accompanied them to Kianza in the commune of Ngaba.
Despite the reinforced security system around Lemba, the opposition leaders were in no mood to abandon their peaceful march.
But a heavy handed approach of police broke the march as they descended on everyone in the procession with Katumbi’s vehicle smashed in the rear.
