President Félix Tshisekedi today allowed his police officer to shed blood in a bid to stop a peaceful protest organized by the opposition.
Several protesters were injured in the capital Kinshasa as police used live bullets, teargas and other weapons to stop the demonstration.
The demonstration delayed by a week was organized by opposition leaders Moise Katumbi, Martin Fayulu, Delly Sesanga and Augustin Matata Ponyo to highlight insecurity, chaotic organization of the election, high cost of living and the crisis in the east.
