President Felix Tshisekedi’s trip to a parliamentary meeting with women of the house did not go down all well. He was booed and told off the country is in a mess.
Soon as he took to the podium, the women raptured in union.
They yelled the fall of the local currency to the dollar. They highlighted complaints of prices of basic necessities have climbed and the never ending war in eastern Congo.
Observers say Tshisekedi has lost control of the management of national affairs.
They have cautioned him against declaring his candidature in the 2023 presidential elections fearing he will be humiliated.
Others are calling for his resignation as the most honorable thing to day.
Tshisekedi is determined to fend off opposition from Moise Katumbi of the Together for the Republic party and Martin Fayulu of Ecide.
