A gruesome account of a boy surviving the M23 rebels in eastern Congo is told in a video circulating online.
The identified boys tells a story of him and her mother running away from the war but he was the only one to make it alive.
“We were running away from M23, then we came across the bandits. They took my mother and cut her stomach. She was pregnant. They removed the baby and it in pieces. For a moment, I was drench in blood and they thought I was dead,” the youngster narrates.
