Opposition Ensemble pour la République president Moïse Katumbi made a suprise visit to Kasumbalesa to check on the party structures.

The border town was alive as supporters burst in song and cheers at the sight of Katumbi on Saturday, July 1, 2023.

A representative of Ensemble members in the area said Katumbi’s candidature in the December 20, 2023 polls is unquestionable.
