[VIDEO] MBANDAKA DEFIES AUTHORITIES: Population Turns Out For Katumbi & Pledges 100% Vote

Opposition Ensemble pour la République leader Moïse Katumbi was in Mbandaka in the North West Democratic Republic of Congo and despite frustrations deployed by the governor of the area, the population still turn-up for him.

The governor crippled all transportation for the population to gather for the rally, but those who had an opportunity made their way.

After his arrival, Katumbi enjoyed
a moment of relaxation by bike on the streets of Mbandaka much to the delight of locals.

Katanga asked the people of Mbandaka, the main city of the Equateur province, to protect their vote and challenge those who made unfulfilled promises.

“l’m going to do roads all over the Equateur province. I want to bring clean water and electricity. On election day, you have to monitor the vote. A man does not cry, he acts. They didn’t even build a toilet. You have voter cards. You must go to the
polling stations and not leave until the end of the counting,” he urged the jubilant crowd.
