Opposition Ensemble pour la République president Moise Katumbi has received a huge boost ahead of the polls on December 20, 2023 with formidable candidate Delly Sesanga throwing his weight behind him.
Sesanga, assigned number 4 on the ballot, says Katumbi represents the most united and clear agenda for the reformation of the DRC.
He becomes the fourth of the presidential candidates to back the candidature of the former Katanga Governor.
Sesanga bring a significant contribution of the Kasaï voting block to increase Katumbi’s chances of outrightly defeating incumbent Felix Tshisekedi.
Former Prime Minister Augustin Matata Ponyo Mapon, activist Franck Diongo and youthful politician Seth Kikuni have been part of the Katumbi trail having endorsed him early in the campaign.
Katumbi was in Mbandaka today in the north west of Congo with crowds joining his campaign.
