The early evening stop over by leading Democratic Republic of Congo opposition leader Moise Katumbi did not deter residents of Bunia from turning out enmasse.
Katumbi was in Isiro where he also addressed a huge rally championing his cause for a new Congo.
He was joined by Congo Ya Makasi alliance partners Augustin Matata Mapon, Franck Diongo and Seth Kikuni.
The scenes in Bunia were amazing and the electrifying scenes gave the campaign team more confidence on the trail.
DRC will go to the polls on December 20, 2023 with Katumbi favorite to unseat the incumbent President Felix Tshisekedi.
Tshisekedi has struggled to marshal support as crowds resist his presence.
