Democratic Republic of Congo President Fèlix Tshisekedi’s health is deteriorating and is due to fly out to Brussels, Belgium for an urgent surgical operation.
Last week, Tshisekedi returned back to Kinshasa a week after going on a mysterious trip to a destination that was left undisclosed by the government.
Sources have since revealed that Tshisekedi had traveled receive urgent medical attention abroad as his health condition worsens.
Tshisekedi is now set to be flown aboard tofor undergo a prostate operation at specialist hospital in the Belgian capital.
Tshisekedi’s health is said to have deteriorated since the start of the campaigns in the run up to the 2023 General Elections which he managed fraudulently won.
