Former Democratic Republic of Congo President Joseph Kabila’s twin sister, Jaynet, spent five hours at the Military Intelligence Agency (DEMIAP) headquarters in Kinshasa where she was interrogated this Friday.
Jaynet Kabila who was in the company of her lawyers, had been summoned by DEMIAP and was only allowed to go home after a five hour long interrogation session as imposter President Fèlix Tshisekedi looks to trigger a reaction from the former head of state and his family.
She had been summoned following the illegal raid of the Kabila family’s Mzee Laurent-Désiré Kabila Foundation by DEMIAP agents who went away with several items including a vehicle which was used as hearse to carry the remains of the late third president of the DRC.
After being ignored in Namibia while at the funeral of the late President Hage Geingob, Tshisekedi has sworn to reduce the Kabila family to nothing as he remains insecure about Joseph Kabila who he views as a potential political threat.
Joseph Kabila has had to relocate from the DR Congo and so far issued no statement even after several provocative acts by Tshisekedi against his family.
Last year, Tshisekedi sent soldiers to demolish the fence at Kabila’s private residence located in Kinshasa with hope of instigating a retaliation from the former head of state.
