STUDENTS RIOT:UPN Students Run Amok Destroying Property In Kinshasa

The tension at the National Pedagogical University reached fever pitch on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 with students going wayward burning property.

The students were demonstrating against the increase in the price of academic fees.

To show their anger and displeasure, the students took to the streets and descended on the property of the institution.

In the process, buses were set ablaze and the administrative building of the National Pedagogical University was vandalized.

Campus management needed the help of the police to restore calm.
