International and local experts have so far identified the candidate of the opposition Congo Ya Makasi coalition to be ahead of incumbent Fèlix Tshisekedi in the race.
International media news agency Reuters is the latest to forecast Katumbi as a front-runner in the coming elections after an emphatic endorsement from the Congolese population.
