MAZEMBE: Foreign Players Go On Vacation As Trialists Continue Drilling In Kamalondo

TP Mazembe players have gone a three-week long post-season break following the premature finish to the 2022/23 Linafoot campaign.

Mazembe’s foreign players contingent have since last week returned to their respective home countries for their vacation and will only be expected back in the DRC around mid-June.

However, the club’s recruitment department remains active in Kamalondo to oversee trials currently being conducted at the Stade de TP Mazembe in Lubumbashi.

Head coach Lamine N’Diaye and his European assistants have equally returned to their respective homelands as of last week and has left the rest of the technical staff in charge of monitoring the trialists.

Mazembe currently has a host of players attending trials at the club among them from Lebanon, Algeria, Mali as well as other locals.

The club is reportedly set to conduct a massive overhaul of their squad following a disappointing performance in the CAF Confederation Cup.

The Ravens are looking to strengthen their roaster ahead of their participation in the maiden CAF Super League edition this year.
