Security is no longer guaranteed in the country’s second largest as gangs of street children known as kuluna return to terrorize the population.
The young thugs who are in gangs have taken over the streets with force and are occupying several corners of the city.
They forcibly grab telephones from people in the middle of the day, demand money and walk away with other valuables items.
Notorious locations the kuluna have made their home are bus stops along Msiri Boulevard, “Royal” Bakery, Texaco Stop.
As soon as a bus parks at one of these locations, these young people become active and target passengers.
Eyewitnesses say the boys have formed groups of they use to steal and disturb the peace of the population locality
