LINAFOOT: Lupembe Is New Simba Coach

Former Democratic Republic of Congo national team assistant coach Daoula Lupembe has landed a new job at Linafoot side AS Simba of Kolwezi ahead of the new season.

Lupembe, who was assistant coach for the Leopards under Argentine Hector Cuper, is set to be unveiled as new Simba head coach following his departure from Sanga Balende.

Sanga Balende recently announced the departures of Lupembe along with his entire technical bench on mutual consent.

However, it has taken Lupembe almost no-time to find a new job as he has already started preparing Simba for the new 2023/24 Linafoot season.

Lupembe was on Thursday afternoon introduced to the new team and took the them through its paces at the Manika Stadium in Kolwezi.

Simba begin their 2023/24 Linafoot season campaign with a tricky home fixture against Lubumbashi giants TP Mazembe on 24th August.
