KATUMBI IN MATADI: Massive Crowd Receives Incoming President’s Arrival

Lead opposition Ensemble Pour la Republique President Moïse Katumbi has arrived in the city of Matadi in Kongo Central Province to continue his tour of the DR Congo to revitalize his party ahead of the 2023 Presidential Polls.

Prior to his arrival this afternoon, scores of residents turn up at the Biwewe Grounds in anticipation to listen to the message of hope their incoming leader had brought for them.

Katumbi who spent the night in the neighbouring port town of Boma, made a stopover at Kinzau-Mvuete in Seke-Banza territory where he visited a hospital and a school that he had rehabilitated.

The former Haut-Katanga Province governor finally touched down in Matadi in the afternoon much to the jubilation of the highly expectant crowd.

Katumbi was welcomed by an overwhelming 80% of the city’s population with approximately 210,000 out of the 245,862 citizenry of Matadi taking to the streets where business came to a standard still.

This is an historic feat in the Congolese political arena posted by Katumbi as he continues to draw impressive crowds on his party revitalization tour around the country.
