After supervising the assassination of Ensemble pour la République spokesperson Chérubin Okende, President Félix Tshisekedi now wants Salomon Kalonda Della, the advisor of Moise Katumbi, dead.
Salomon was brutally kidnapped Nd thrown in a military prison on May 30, 2023 and has since that time suffered untold abuse.
He was arrested on trumped up charges of illegal possession of a fiream.
But when he was recently brought before a judge, the intial false charges disappeared and the new ones were pronounced.
Observers say Salomon is being held for political reasons by Tshisekedi.
And the senior advisor has been denied medical attention on instructions from the Head of State.
Salomon’s medical condition has deteriorated due to the poor sanitary conditions in the military prison.
Family and friends of Salomon have also faced challenges visiting him as there is scrutiny and a strong presence of state agents guarding him.
Tshisekedi has targeted opposition leader Moise Katumbi and his officials to frustrate their efforts and bid ahead of the December 20, 2023 presidential and parliamentary elections.
