Congolese giants TP Mazembe have reportedly received an approach from Europe for striker Jean Baleke who currently on loan at Simba SC in Tanzania.
According local reports, Mazembe have been approached by a European club who have proposed to sign the 22-year old marksman on a three-year contract.
Having joined on a season-long loan deal at the start of the season, Baleke made an immediate impact at Simba, scoring 17 goals in all competitions already this season.
Mazembe are now scheduled to hold future talks with Baleke’s camp as well as Simba to chart the way forward for the player.
Baleke has also recently signed up with Canadian-based Congolese agent Faustino Mukandila to fuel rumours of his intentions to make a move at the end of the soon-to-be concluded season.
Mukandila represents a host of Congolese players plying their trades for top African clubs including Arsene Zola AC, Ben Malango, Fabrice Ngoma and Eric Kabwe among others.
