Opposition Ecide president Martin Fayulu says he is shocked and appalled by the political assassination of Ensemble pour la République spokesperson Cherubin Okende.
Fayulu says there is no doubt that the heinous crime leading to Okende’s death was akin to a political assassination.
“This crime cannot go unpunished. My sincere condolences to his biological family and to the party Together for the Republic,” he said.
Okende was kidnapped yesterday while at court by suspected state agents and was only discovered this morning with his lifeless body in the driver’s seat of his vehicle.
