Respected Congolese Catholic leader Fridolin Ambongo has said the killing of Ensemble pour la République spokesperson Chérubin Okende will come at a price for the assailants.
The Archbishop of Kinshasa was speaking during a Eucharistic celebration Friday, July 14.
He said death will not spare anyone on earth and those who took the life of Okende had four options.
“All those who promise death to others should not forget the four
last truths from which no human being escapes: death, the last judgment, paradise or hell,” Cardinal Ambongo says.
The population in the DRC is gripped in fear following the death of Okende after being kidnapped at the Constitutional Court.
