With only a few days before the release of her latest single, songbird Barbara Kanam yesterday took time to attend a public event at the Stade Martyrs in Kinshasa.
Known as the African Diva, Kanam radiates her melodious voice with beauty. Such a combination endears her to her fans.
Yesterday, she attended a social event fighting deforestation and highlighting the dangers of smoking to people’s health.
Kanam was invited to the event by the International Movement of Dynamic Women in Africa.
“I was happy to respond to the invitation of MIFDA. It allowed me to raise awareness to more than 20,000 female entrepreneurs present at the Martyrs’ Stadium in Kinshasa,” she said.
