[VIDEO] WHEN CATHOLICS WERE FRIENDS: How Tshisekedi Joined Protests Organized By The Church To Oust Kabila

DR Congo Elections, Kinshasa, Congo, The Democratic Republic Of The - 30 Dec 2018 — Mandatory Credit: Photo by STEFAN KLEINOWITZ/EPA-EFE/REX (10043477z) The opposition candidate Felix Tshisekedi, the leader of the Union for Democracy and Social Progress (UDPS) party, shows his ballot as he votes in the general elections in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo, 30 December 2018. DR Congo went to the polls on 30 December where the ruling party candidate Emmanuel Ramazani Shadary, a loyalist of outgoing president Joseph Kabila, is facing challenges by opposition leaders Martin Fayulu and Tshisekedi. More than 1 million voters are excluded from the polls after the decision to postpone the poll in three districts citing Ebola crisis and insecurity. History is documented for us to learn and make better decisions and judgment. It appears President Félix Tshisekedi is a bad student of history.

And since he is this terrible in recollecting the past, we wish to bring to his memory his role with the Catholic Church.

This is the same Catholic Church he was insulting on Sunday as being perpetrators of a dangerous shift leading to disunity in the country.

Tshisekedi did not address the assault and attack on Chruch leadership by a group of his UDPS militiamen in Kasumbalesa.

But he found it within him to call out the church for unnecessary reasons.

Anyway, he has forgotten he needed the same church to become President.
