An official of the former ruling party, PPRD, has raised alarm on the numbers the Kasai region has registered as voters.
According to CENI, Kasai region – which is President Felix Tshisekedi’s stronghold – has retained a near 100 percent voter registration rate.
The ruling party, UDPS, has been accused of influencing CENI officials to register even children in the Kasai region.
They claim that Prime Minister, Sama Lukonde, will help win President Tshisekedi votes in the Katanga and Swahili speaking east but this official in the video says Lukonde is unpopular and only has two MPs in the National Assembly.
PPRD officials say the Katanga is not ready to vote Tshisekedi who has sent commandos to massacre the youth for no apparent reason.
