President Félix Tshisekedi has continued to block the opposition from exercising their right to protest peacefully.
Today, Tshisekedi sent his hungry and malnourished police officers to deny the opposition a sit in protest in Kinshasa.
Opposition leaders Augustin Matata Mpon, Moise Katumbi, Martin Fayulu and Delly Sesanga showed up with their supporters on the June 30 Boulevard but were blocked from reaching CENI offices by a heavy presence of police.
The opposition was to send a message to CENI not to tamper with the elections set for December 20 seeing thatbthe process of registration is marred by irregularities.
“We must stop the cheating project that Denis Kadima wants to orchestrate in favor of Félix Tshisekedi,” said Fayulu.
CENI reported on Sunday 43.9 million voters had been officially entered after a disputed audit described as a facade by the opposition.
