Chaos broke out in the city of Mbuji-Mayi, Kasai-Orientral Province following the announcement of the fraudulent election results to proclaim the re-election of Fèlix Tshisekedi.
Cadres from Tshisekedi’s UDPS party went round the town on Monday attacking and destroying people and property believed to be supporters of or belonging to the opposition Ensemble Pour la Republique party.
The Ensemble Pour la Republique party head office in Mbuji-Mayi was left in a sad state as the UDPS thugs decimated the building.
The UDPS thugs took with them doors and roofing sheets as well as every valuable that they could find at the office.
The opposition in the Kasai region were victims of violent and abuse during the chaotic elections from the Tshisekedi-sponsored militia group and party cadres.
