TAKING POSITION: Burundi Troops Arrive In Eastern Congo

Burundian troops have just landed in Goma to take position in bid to restore peace in the eastern parts of the country.

There are about thirty Burundian soldiers who arrived as part of the regional force of the East African Command.

Deputy Commander, Major General Kaputa says Burundi military will be deployed on the axis of Sake, Kilolirwe and Kitchanga.

M23 rebels have caused havoc in the eastern parts but it is suspected there are over 100 rebel groups including Islamic operatives.
