Democratic Republic of Congo President Fèlix Tshisekedi has continued his post re-election ‘honeymoon’ abroad as he arrived in Doha, Qatar in the disguise of a working visit.
“On his arrival at Hamad International Airport, he was welcomed by Dr Ahmad bin Hassen Al Hammadi, Secretary General of the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and by Valérie Lusamba Kabeya, Ambassador of the DRC to the State of Qatar” , said the source.
The luxurious and flashy living Tshisekedi arrived in Doha on Monday from Turkey where he had participation in the 3rd Antalya Diplomatic Forum and audiences granted to managers of Turkish companies, bidders infrastructure construction projects in the DRC.
Tshisekedi’s “honeymoon” tour began with an official mission to Belgium where he successively discussed current political and security issues in the DRC with Belgian Prime Minister Alexandre Decroo and King Philippe.
Before Belgium, Tshisekedi had also spent time in Namibia and Angola with his trip to Qatar now his sixth trip abroad in barely less than two months after his inauguration.
