QUALIFIED: DRC Confirm 2023 AFCON Ticket After 2-0 Win Over Sudan

Theo Bongonda and Fiston Mayele scored in different halves to give the Democratic Republic of Congo a 2-0 win over Sudan.

The win confirms Congo’s place at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations to be played in January 2024 in Ivory Coast.

Having missed out on the party in Cameroon, the DRC worked hard to finish top of their group and are joined by Mauritania who beat Gabon 2-1.
