PRESIDENTIAL PRISONER: Jean Marc Kabund Counts His Days At Makala Prison

A former ally of President Felix Tshisekedi, Jean Marc Kabund, is captured in his prison uniform counting the days.

He is jailed for criticizing Tshisekedi and calling him incompetent.

Jean Marc Kabund was UDPS Secretary General when Tshisekedi became President.

He was then elected President of the National Assembly before the two fell out.

The fall-out led to Kabund heavily criticizing Tshisekedi’s style of leadership.

Kabund also formed his own political party which the CENI has excluded from participating in the December 20, 2023 polls.
