NATIONAL DISGRACE: Leopard To Play In Cameroon Because Of Tshisekedi’s Hate For Katumbi; Fecafot Lies Exposed

Democratic Republic of Congo Football Association has settled for a stadium in Cameroon for its upcoming international fixture against Mauritania.

This follows the decision by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to ban its two stadiums leaving the country with only Stade de the Mazembe – a private sports facility whose chairman Moise Katumbi is also a leading opposition leader.

Congolese football followers are upset that the federation has settled for a foreign country instead of a stadium in the country.

Initial statements from the association suggested that Leopard coach Sebastien Desabre requested the federation to seek a venue outside the country. However, Desabre has issued a statement indicating that his first option for an alternate venue from Stade de Martyrs (which was not certified by CAF) was Stade de Mazembe in Kamalondo, Lubumbashi.

The match between DRC and Mauritania which is the third round of the African Cup of Nations qualifier for Ivory Coast 2023 will be played on Friday, March 24 at the Japoma Stadium in Douala, Cameroon.

According to the secretary general of the Fecofa, Belge Situatala, the choice of the site is technical.
