Uganda President Yoweri Museveni’s son General Muhoozi Kainerugaba says there is no need to fight the M23, a rebel group that has caused untold misery to East Congo.
Gen. Muhoozi, who is in Bunagana is leading part of the Uganda army in the eastern Congo, says, “M23s are our brothers. No need to fight them. We can discuss and resolve all issues.”
Gen. Muhoozi’s father, Museveni and Rwanda’s Paul Kagame, have been accused of supporting rebels in eastern Congo.
Uganda has also sent army personnel as part of the East Africa Command to help with the peace keeping mission.
