The respected Paramount Chief Mwant Yav of the Lunda people in Kapanga in Lualaba yesterday brought the rural locale to a halt when Ensemble president Moise Katumbi made a stop-over in the chiefdom.
Katumbi had just visited Dilolo before connecting to Kapanga and Musumba much to the delight of local dwellers.
As the opposition leader strolled through the villages, locals burst in song and dance jiving to a hit number by Lomanix Kyanzhila which eas releaded in 2018 in hour of the former Katanga governor’s return from exile.
Katumbi told the predominantly Lunda crowd that he will return for campaigns as his visit on Thursday was solely to revive the party.
