About 18 people have died in a road accident that occured at Ludi Bridge in Lualaba yesterday.
An eyewitness says the bodies of the victims were spread out side by side at the accident scene.
The images of the scene was also shocking.
The traffic accident that occurred at the Ludi bridge in the territory of Mutshatsha in the province of Lualaba put an end to the lives of 18 people according to the report put forward by the provincial authorities.
A heavy vehicle was unable to climb the slope as its braking system unfortunately failed.
Of the dead, eight women, four men and six children died in the accident which occurred on the morning of Friday July 28, 2023.
The provincial Ministry of Transport and Communication put announced that the number of those injured stood at 44.
