IN CHARGE: Uganda Takes Over DRC City

The Ugandan army has taken control of the eastern city of Bunagana after Rwanda-backed rebels, M23, have withdrawn. The Congolese army, FARDC, have been banned from approaching the area as part of the ceasefire agreement.

There is no indication as to how long Uganda will be in charge of the area but are occupying the part of Congo under the guise of East African Command on a peace keeping mission.
