Political commentator Eliezer Ntambwa says Deputy Prime Minister for Economics Vital Kamerhe’s mission to Zambia and South Africa was a self-enriching exercise.
Ntambwa says Kamerhe had nothing to offer to the country but speeches.
“I was happy when we named Vital Kamerhe because in his speeches, he likes to say, there are so many miles of this or that. It’s time to ditch theory and practice.
“They went for corn but came back with corn in their pockets,” Ntambwa said.
Kamerhe was recently in Zambia and South Africa in search of a solution to the maize shortage that had hit the Democratic Republic of Congo.
