FRAUD FREE ELECTIONS: Opposition Meets Belgian Delegation

Four opposition leaders Moïse Katumbi, Delly Sessanga, Martin Fayulu and Augustin Matata Mpon have met with a Belgian delegation of lawmakers to discuss the upcoming elections.

The officials exchanged notes with the delegation of Belgian lawmakers and officers from the Belgium Foreign Relations Commission.

Katumbi, Matata, Fayulu and Sesanga presented their reservations on the management of the electoral process in the Democratic Republic of Congo which is marred by chaos and an innate bias for the ruling party to win.

The election is set for December 20, 2023 but the opposition want a thorough independent audit of the register by an independent agency.

They have accused CENI of conducting the registration process in areas perceived to be President Félix Tshisekedi’s stronghold without incident.

In opposition stronghold, CENI allegedly under supplied registration materials to disenfranchise millions of voters.
