CLAMPDOWN: 20 Mobondo Militiamen Arrested.

The Congolese army has arrested a group of militiamen belonging to the Mobondo clan in Kenge.

A total of 40 suspected Mobondo militiamen with military effects were presented to the population on Sunday July 2 by loyalist forces.

The Mobondo militias have engaged in fierce clashes with a rival tribe of Yekas in western Democratic Republic of Congo which has resulted in several deaths.
