The UDPS/Lusambo office was ransacked on Friday December 8 following the cancellation of the arrival of presidential candidate Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi in the city.
According to local sources, all activities were paralyzed on the same Friday in Lusambo.
Several residents of Lusambo stormed the main streets to demonstrate, according to the mayor, against the cancellation of the arrival of Felix Tshisekedi by his campaign team.
A meeting of candidate number 20 was planned for December 11 in Lusambo. But according to the candidate’s campaign team, this rally will instead take place in Lodja.
Several shots were fired after the deployment of police elements who dispersed the demonstrators.
