TP Mazembe president Moise Katumbi has described fallen top fan as a symbol synonymous with the Lubumbashi giants.
In an emotional tribute following the passing of Papy Maongezo Muteba, Katumbi says Mazembe has lost one of its valiant supporters.
Commomly known as Robot among Mazembe faithful, the mesmerizing dancer was a permanent fixture, home and away, for Mazembe.
“Robot has just left us. He was a son who has torn my affection. The big family of TP Mazembe has lost one of its most valiant supporters,” Katumbi posted on his X (formerly twitter) platform which has over 1 million followers.
“With all his heart, with all his
soul and with all his strength, he defended our colors while always giving the best of himself.
“He was the tireless twelfth man
on the team. Together we traveled the whole world. All the stadiums, he moved with rhythm of his dances.
“His demise creates an immense void in our hearts. You did your part, rest in peace dear Robot.
“My condolences to all the black and white fans and to the entire family.”
